Liebster Award

image

Just a few days ago, I got nominated for the Liebster Award. After being ultimately happy and smiling like crazy for a few minutes, I started freaking out a bit: what exactly is the Liebster Award and what does it mean for my blog?

After doing some research, I guess I figured it out now. The Liebster Award (which can actually be translated as the “loveliest” or the “sweetest” award) is a form of acknowledgement for “new” bloggers.

I consider myself quite new to this whole blogging world, but I can already be grateful for all likes, comments and, of course, the nomination I have received: thank you so much Kelly Jane Mills!

Where does all this “Bad Blood” come from?

‘Cause, baby, now we got bad blood

You know it used to be mad love

So take a look what you’ve done.

Still not convinced? Let me call out a classic: To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, followed by its sequel Go Set A Watchman last year. Even Eminem dedicated a song to the same species as Harper Lee has written about, namely the mockingbird. Continue reading “Why mockingbirds are so fascinating”

Hello, world!

I don’t know. I don’t know at all. And that’s what’s frightening the life out of me. To have no idea…

– Agatha Christie, And Then There Were None

I’ve decided to start with this book quote, because it describes my feelings at this moment the best. I have no idea what to expect of this blog, but I want to dive into the deep. I’m up for a challenge.
